The BMW Carplay MMI Box allows you to use your oem screen, then pressing the menu button on your idrive controller brings up a whole new screen that allows you to use carplay.
 
This product requires installation that takes approx 1 hour to do. 
 
If you have a BMW after 2016, then check our other carplay coding listing as we may be able to code carplay to your car without the need for any MMI boxes to be installed.
 
Note; you must have a working headunit for this to work in your car.
